Oh, come now, there’s no reason to apologize! Why, without the Flames surge before their inevitable burnout(that’s a joke on the team name for you Calgary fans), the Wings may never have been pressured into playing as well as they had to in order to get to round 2 of the playoffs.

Why, we should be thanking you! Our race for what at the time was the eight seed doesn’t seem to have worked out so well for the Flames. Thanks for taking a hard one for us.
