co-sign on Matt D's comment. Kane gave up on the back check which is totally unacceptable.

Look at the replay of the game 2 OT winner and focus on #88 (Kane). He was 1 foot behind Samuelsson at the Red Wing blue line, but amazingly he stopped skating and cruised through the nuetral zone as the three Wings are breaking out, so Samuelsson is left wide open in the slot for the winning goal. Kane's not even in the picture frame as the winning goal is slapped in. He's worst-in-playoffs -10 and is a total liability. Campbell lost his edge on the play, but Kane gave up like nothing I've ever seen before in a Stanley Cup semi-final OT.

Campbell is such painful temptation for hockey GMs. He's been such a goat in so many playoffs, yet he looks so good in the regular season. Surely, all-seeing genius that I am, I can add that mysterious piece to this maligned player to turn him into The Total Package(tm).

But it never works, you never know why, and you always end up taking it up the rosebud; so Brian Campbell remains a mystery wrapped in an enema.

Also not pictured, that $6 million dollar/yr. goaltender they signed at the same time. I think their GM was smoking something that day.
