Recap of final play; Campbell gets pass in offensive zone, is physically and mentally unable to one time a puck, then coughs the puck up. He starts up the ice to help out, thinks no one is on him, dogs it a bit (end of a shift or not he has to get back when the game is on the line). Then he gets his stick slashed and is unable to make a play, leading to yet another loss. I am definitely not a huet appologist, but seriously, how bad is campbell. How many times have we seen this "offensive defensman" have to settle down a puck that should be one-timed. He does it all the time on the power play. We have all seen it, kane passes to toews down low, toews fires a pass to campbell pinching on the backside, and what does campbell do.....either puts up a terribly weak one-timer, or holds on to the puck for a second and then shoots a wrist shot into the goalie's chest. Bottom line, Campbell sucks just as much as huet, and anyone who doesn't believe me, watch the 3/7 game at boston in which campbell was a minus 3, and I believe he was ON the ice for one or two hawk goals!
